POW Expression

POW parses a numeric base and exponent and applies std::pow.

Syntax

POW{base,exponent}

The two arguments are separated by a comma.

Examples

Values already covered by ACE's expression/math-parser tests include:

POW{2,3}    -> 8
POW{3,0}    -> 1
POW{2,-1}   -> 0.5

Nested numeric expressions may be used as arguments because inner expressions are resolved first.

Inside CALC, the ^ operator also performs exponentiation. CALC's ^ associativity and precedence are documented separately because they are properties of the CALC parser rather than POW itself.
